Vital Threads started with a daughter.

Her father believed one thing above all else: that the most powerful response to the world around you is peaceful self-expression. Not silence. Not rage. The quiet, unyielding act of saying exactly what you mean and letting it stand.

He wanted her to grow up knowing her voice matters. That her convictions are worth wearing. That she never has to shrink what she thinks to make the room more comfortable.

We hold our beliefs and values closely — but we are willing to listen. To all of it, right, left, and everyone in between. We weigh what we hear against our own values, then make the shirt that gives a microphone to those who want to express theirs outwardly.
